2025 Summer Schedule
Summer Classes and Camps 2026
Cinderella's Enchanting Dance Camp
Ages 3 & 4
Whether your three or four year old has just expressed an interest in ballet or they have already made their debut, this camp is perfect! Join us for an enchanting four days of pre-ballet and creative movement with Ms. Lisa and her wonderful assistants! Dancers will also enjoy art activities that help us explore the beautiful world of ballet. This exciting experience will culminate in a visit from Cinderella herself on the final day!
Our dress code is relaxed in the summer. If your little ballerina or danseur already has dance clothes (girls-- any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and boys-- white t-shirt, black tights, black ballet shoes) they can wear them. If your little one is simply trying out ballet for the first time, please do not feel obligated to purchase dancewear for this camp. A gymnastics leotard or t-shirt, shorts, and bare feet will suffice.

Clara's Dreamy Dance Camp
Ages 5 through 8
Join us for a dreamy week of ballet and creative movement with Ms. Lisa! We will explore the beautiful world of ballet, being a dancer, and one of our favorite classics, “The Nutcracker,” through art activities each day after we dance.
Ballet vocabulary, nutrition and anatomy, music, pantomime, and even costume design are all a part of this fun, imaginative, and educational experience.

Broadway Babies Jazz Camp
Ages 5 through 8
Dancers will participate in a one hour jazz class. They will be learning musical theatre/classic jazz with an emphasis on rhythm, coordination, movement concepts and spatial awareness while improving strength and flexibility. Dancers will love learning a fun piece of choreography through out the week. After dance class each day they will get their creative juices flowing and enjoy creating their very own costumes and props (all materials provided). Parents, be ready to come watch as your little shining star will put on a show for you on the final day!

Summer Ballet Classes
Junior and Senior Company dancers
Junior and Senior level ballet technique classes will be offered throughout the summer. The goal is to provide a means for company dancers to stay in shape as they prepare for and return from various summer intensive workshops across the U.S. These classes are vital to dancers who do not participate in summer intensives, but are looking to progress over the summer break as well.

Summer Intensive
Junior and Senior Company dancers

A wonderful opportunity for our Junior and Senior company dancers to experience a one week summer intensive right here in our own studio! Dancers will take ballet, pointe and musical theater jazz classes.
Alayna Wong
Alayna Wong, originally from Sothern California, trained at Huntington Academy of Dance in California and International Ballet Academy in Washington state before joining Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee for their 2018/19 season. Alayna joined Ballet North Texas in 2023; her featured roles include Dew Drop and Snow Queen in Nicolina Lawson’s The Nutcracker, Cupid in Lawson’s Don Quixote, and in Penny Saunders’ Sur le Fil and George Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie; she was also featured in original works by Gabriel Speiller, Carrie Ruth Trumbo, and Sam Jones.
In 2023, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy. With the OU School of Dance, her performance repertoire included George Balanchine’s Serenade, Jirí Kylián’s Falling Angels, Penny Saunders’ Deux Amours, and Gerald Arpino’s Viva Vivaldi. In 2022, she toured with OU to perform at the International Contemporary Dance Festival of Mexico City and was selected to represent Moscelyne Larkin at the Five Moons Dance Festival. Since then, she has performed with New Narratives Contemporary Dance in their inaugural show Whistling in the Dark, danced with Central Oklahoma Ballet Theatre for two summer seasons, and has been a principal guest artist with Hot Springs Children’s Dance Theatre since 2021. Outside of dance, Alayna is a ballet instructor at Hathaway Academy of Ballet and crochets stuffed animals in her free time.
Merrill West
Merrill West is a dancer, teacher and choreographer based in NYC for 20 yrs. Her choreographic work at Casa Mañana includes Annie, Carrie, Tuck Everlasting, Grease, Sweeney Todd, Madagascar, Big Bad Musical, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Wizard of Oz. She also serves as Associate Director/Choreographer to award winning Director/Choreographer, Karma Camp, at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. She currently serves as adjunct faculty for Theatre TCU and has taught master classes for CCM, NYU, Towson University, ACU, OCU, and The Radio City Rockettes.
As a performer, Merrill had the pleasure of being one of the world famous Radio City Rockettes for eight seasons and appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning revival of 42nd Street. She was also seen in the national tour of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. She has appeared on the Today Show, The David Letterman Show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Tony Awards Broadcast. She is a featured performer on Broadway’s Lost Treasures DVD from PBS. Her regional theatre credits are numerous and include a Helen Hayes Award for her appearance in the ensemble of Hello Dolly! at Ford’s Theatre in DC. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from New York University and is both a proud member of AEA and SDC.
